Rukkayah Suleiman Mohammed, the Nassarawa born Creative Director of Reedas is carving a niche for her signature label in the fashion industry.
She has over the years mastered the art of creating custom made outfits that cuts across different cultures and a diverse client base.
Before following her dream of being a designer, she had been in the Banking Industry for over 8 years. As one of Nigeria's upcoming fashion designers, Rukkayah's passion for fashion and fine things in life stems from a rich history of attending numerous balls and state dinners hosted by her esteemed father, who was a diplomat and played host to a mix of people from various backgrounds and cultures.
With a focus on simplicity, the idea behind her label REEDAS which is named after her second child Reeda , is to create timeless and elegant pieces, through exquisite and well thought out designs on rich fabric and mastery of the tapestry; all hallmarks of a Reedas outfit.
Rukkayah Suleiman - Mohammed is well on her way to making the REEDAS brand an intercontinental household name.
